Q: How often is this web page updated?

A: Usually every week, but, sometimes every 2 weeks. Sometimes the updates are very small such as the

AFT's Newsletter only but sometimes the updates are dramatic. You should at least have a peek at the

website every week to check for updates and news.

Q: Are there any Grievances in effect?

A: Yes. 1. The details will not be made public for now.

Q: When is the contract up?

A: This July 2007.

Q. Do we have a bargaining team ready for negotations?
A: We will begin selecting a bargaining team in May.
Q: Why did you not file a grievance to my problem?
A: If your problem is not a contract violation, a policy violation, or
    contrary to past practice it is not likely a grievance. We can talk
    to management concerning your problem, but in most of these cases
    we have to accept managements position.
